THE MONVÈRA EDIT · A GUIDE FOR HOMEOWNERS
Choosing an artificial tree
for your home.
The right tree begins with the room. A guide to scale, silhouette and the details that make a botanical piece feel at home.

A large artificial tree can give a living room a focal point, soften an entrance hall or bring height to a quiet corner. For a luxury home, the most useful starting point is proportion: how the canopy, trunk and planter sit alongside the furniture and architecture you already have.
01 · PROPORTION
Measure more than the ceiling.
Start with the finished floor-to-ceiling height in the exact position you have in mind. Check for beams, sloping ceilings, pendant lights and other fittings. A tree’s quoted total height should include its planter; the overall heights given for the Founder’s Edition, Bonsai and St Lucia all do.
Then measure the width available for the canopy. Mark the proposed planter footprint on the floor with removable tape and check that doors can open and people can walk past comfortably. A canopy is wider than its planter: the Founder’s Edition, for example, has an approximately 130 cm canopy and a 60 cm wide planter.
Photograph the space from the main doorway and from where you normally sit. Those views help us discuss scale with you before you choose a piece.
02 · CHARACTER
Choose the feeling, then the tree.
Artificial cherry blossom trees bring an abundant, flowering silhouette. The Founder’s Edition pairs a full canopy with a rounded planter; the St Lucia is taller and more slender, suited to a home with generous ceiling height. The Collector’s Edition places more emphasis on an expressive trunk and coral-pink canopy.
A large artificial bonsai tree offers a more restrained composition, with layered greenery and visible branching. An artificial olive tree introduces a softer Mediterranean note alongside linen, timber and warm stone. Choose the silhouette you want to see every day, then consider colour and the planter with the rest of your home decor.
03 · DIMENSIONS
A practical starting point.
These are approximate dimensions for the confirmed designs. Total heights include the planter. Colour variations of each design share its specification.
| Piece | Total height | Planter | Canopy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Founder’s Edition | 260 cm | 80 cm high × 60 cm wide | 130 cm wide |
| Bonsai | 200 cm | 82.5 cm high × 47 cm wide | Confirm with quotation |
| St Lucia | 300 cm | 100 cm high × 39 cm wide × 39 cm deep | Confirm with quotation |
The Olive Tree and Collector’s Edition dimensions are confirmed with your quotation. Never estimate the size of a piece from an interior visualisation alone.
04 · LIVING WITH IT
Leave the composition room to breathe.
In a living room, consider the view from the sofa and the relationship to nearby furniture. In an entrance hall, preserve the clear route through the house. A study or reading room may suit a quieter evergreen silhouette; a double-height entrance may have the space for a taller blossom composition.
These are artificial decorative pieces for indoor use. They do not need watering or sunlight to grow, but that does not establish outdoor or UV suitability. Keep the chosen position clear of heat sources and ask about care for the specific materials and finish. Gentle dusting helps maintain the appearance.
The natural or real wood trunks used in the Founder’s Edition, Bonsai and St Lucia give the compositions their structure and texture. The blossom or foliage is artificial. Open each product page to read the confirmed materials and specifications.
05 · ARRIVAL
Plan the route into your home.
Before ordering, share your postcode, the chosen room and any access constraints. Include narrow doorways, tight turns, stairs, lifts or parking restrictions. Ceiling clearance in the final position is only one part of the delivery plan.
Monvèra’s white-glove service brings your tree into your home and positions it in the agreed space. Availability, timing, access arrangements and the complete cost are confirmed before you order. If the collection does not suit the proportions you need, discuss a bespoke botanical commission with us.
To start, send a room photograph, approximate height and width, postcode and the piece you are considering. That gives us something concrete to work with and helps you make a considered choice.
